Marigold Days will soon be celebrated in Mantorville

 
Again this year, the quilt show will be held at the Opera House on Saturday, September 9, 9 a.m. -5 p.m. and on Sunday, September 10, 9 a.m. — 1:30 p.m. We invite all persons who enjoy sewing, creating quilts and other sewing projects to bring them Thursday, September 7, from 4-7 p.m. for registration to be part of the Marigold Days Quilt Show! Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. “A Matter of Balance” is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. This program emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls.

Worship at the Festival

Worshipers gathered at the pavilion in Veterans Park Memorial Park in Kasson Sunday morning for a church service sponsored by South Zumbro Lutheran Church as part of the Festival in the Park festivities.

Kasson Lanes To Open Under New Management

Lions Scrap Drive Sept. 16

Kasson-Mantorville’s Lions Club will have their annual scrap drive on Saturday, September 16, at Lions Park in Kasson.
This is a change in location for this event.

National Night Out

A Kasson youngster got a chance to sit in the fire truck when the Fire Department members made a stop in the neighborhood during last week’s National Night Out. Members of the Kasson Police Department and Kasson Fire Department made stops at similar neighboring gatherings. National Night Out events were also held in Mantorville, West Concord, and Byron.
