It's no secret, there needs to be changes made, in order to continue operating ambulances in Greater Minnesota, and elsewhere.
But what the solution is, still up for debate, months later, in Dodge County.
As you may have read on the front page of the paper, negotiations are at best up in the air, on how to create a sustainable funding structure for the Dodge Center Ambulance.

When I lived in South Dakota in the 80s, I worked with Birthright, a pro-life pregnancy center. We offered non-judgmental support and alternatives to abortion, caring for women’s needs including baby supplies. I even gave talks on sexual abstinence at area high schools as a preventative approach.

Stability:

On November 5th, Minnesota voters will be asked a constitutional amendment question.  The question will be on page 1 of your ballot, and it reads (in part): “Shall the Minnesota Constitution be amended to protect drinking water sources and water quality of lakes, rivers and streams; conserve
wildlife habitat and natural areas; improve air quality; and expand access to
parks and trails…..?”

Byron School Board
Neighboring Rochester Public Schools is lobbying for changes to the Minnesota Data Practice Act, according to the Post Bulletin. If elected would you support similar lobbying efforts, and if so what would you want changed?

Growing up in the 1950s and 60s, many of the statements and descriptions I heard probably would be considered inappropriate by today’s standards.  Most of my relatives had a high school education or less and were plain spoken people. They called a spade a spade. I never knew what kind of spade they were referring to, but it meant you called it like you saw it without sugar coating anything.

Dodge County Public Health (DCPH) will be holding community clinics for the flu vaccine throughout October. Clinics will have the following vaccines available:

• Fluzone High-Dose Trivalent (65+) - $95
