K-M girls finish third at Cannon Falls meet

The Kasson-Mantorville track and field team took their schedule into their own hands last week. K-M comes from behind to top Osseo

The Kasson-Mantorville softball team is now 2-0 on the season as it picked up a come-from-behind victory against Osseo on April 19. The victory had a gritty feel for the KoMets as they navigated around an early deficit thanks to some solid pitching and timely hitting.

K-M hosts 7th annual Business Appreciation Breakfast

The Kasson-Mantorville High School commons was filled on Tuesday morning with representatives and owners of businesses throughout Kasson and the surrounding area.
With only a golden spring sunrise to drive through – no snow, sleet, or anything else cold or wet – attendees enjoyed a breakfast of egg bake, muffins, fruit, coffee, milk, and juice.

Thankfully, I had an editor who was willing to help me as I was adjusted to the faster pace of newspaper writing.

Time to get poppin with a healthy snack

Addictions to gambling, coffee, Facebook, alcoholism, smoking, the internet, drugs, or work run rampant with many people. I've been fortunate to never be addicted to any of those. However, I must confess I do have an addiction. It surrounds popping a snack to satisfy my late night hunger cravings. It’s popcorn.
