WINONA– Because of weather delays, the Section 1, Class 2A, True Team track-and-field meet saw the stadium lights go out Tuesday. But the glow of cell phones saved the day. The Byron and Kasson-Mantorville track and field teams competed in the Section 1AA True Team Meet on Tuesday, May 7, at Paul Giel Field in Winona.

BYRON — The Byron and Kasson-Mantorville track and field teams competed in the Byron Chuck Ramthun Invitational Meet on Thursday, April 25. Women Team Rankings — Byron 211, Faribault 112, Stewartville 108, Kasson-Mantorville 89, Pine Island 85, Lourdes 49, Medford 40. Men Team Rankings — Stewartville 198.5, Byron 172, Pine Island 171, Lourdes 53, Kasson-Mantorville 43, Medford 21.5

The Hayfield track/field boys and girls competed in the St. Charles Invitational on Tuesday, April 30. Team scores: St. Charles 187, Rushford-Peterson/Houston 116, LFCMC 101, Waseca 83, Lewiston-Altura 45, Chatfield 26.

Despite the crazy at times weather, the Kasson-Mantorville boys golf team has managed to participate in some meets.

DODGE CENTER — The Triton boys and girls track/field teams competed in its own Invitational, on Thursday, April 18, at Triton High School. Participants included Grand Meadow- Leroy-Ostrander-Kingsland-Southland (GMLOKS), Lyle-Pacelli and Triton.
