Triton sees success in tournament play

The Triton volleyball team was successful at the Carolyn Hummell Invitational tournament at Jackson County Central over the weekend, winning the Silver Division.
The Cobras went 4-1 during the tournament, with its only loss coming to Jackson County Central.

Byron boys soccer picks up key road victories

The Byron Boys soccer team went 2-0 on the road last week taking on Waseca and Stewartville.
In its first game against Waseca Senior Captain, Jaxon Boynton scored within the first 30 seconds putting the Bears up 1-0. Brady Boyken and Ryan Hartman would also score in the first half putting Byron up 3-0.

KoMeTs blanks Red Wing 7-0

The Kasson-Mantorville/Triton KoMeTs defeated the Red Wing Wingers 7-0 on Sunday, in Kasson.
Miguel Martinez scored three goals, while Jon Schultz had a goal and an assist.
Emmett Oolman, Sawyer Bendickson, and Eli Gonzalez each had a goal while Cooper Bebee had two assists and Ethan Lee and Soack Leon each ended the game with one.

Byron boys soccer earns academic honors

With a 3.66 team overall GPA the Byron boys soccer team was one of 114 teams across the country to be 2023-2024 High School Team Academic Award winner.

Triton wins by over six touchdowns versus Blue Earth

The Triton football team was dominant from the first whistle against Blue Earth Area High School last Friday, winning 60-14.
“I believed this was going to be a dog fight, I thought our boys came out and played at a high level,” Head Coach Brandon Neseth told the DCI following the game. “To start the game with a pic 6 like we did by Graden Thomas really set the tone.”

Triton girls soccer defeated by Mankato Loyola

The Triton girls soccer team fell to Mankato Loyola on the road last week 2-1.
Triton took the lead early with a 1-0 lead going into halftime after Romina Medina scored her third goal of the season.
The Cobras were able to hold the lead until approximately seven minutes left in the game, when Loyola tied the game.

KoMeTs boys soccer beats Cannon Falls, gets shut out by Stewartville

The Kasson-Mantorville/Triton KoMeTs boys soccer team scored two goals in the first half, which proved to be enough as they went on to beat Cannon Falls 6-1 in Kasson last week.
Leading the KoMeTs was Sawyer Bendickson who had three goals.
Miguel Martinez and Cooper Bebee both ended the game with a goal and an assist each and Adrian Larson had a goal of his own. Easton Schmitz ended the game with an assist.
