Robert Beaver, 91, Kasson

Robert Beaver, 91 of Kasson, formerly Hayfield, passed away from ALS on Wednesday, Sept.16, 2020 at his home.
 Robert was born on Aug. 19, 1929 in Rochester, to Alfred and Hilda (Haukom) Beaver. He attended District 142 grade school and Hayfield High School. He married Joy Peters in Pepin, WI on Nov. 27, 1953. 

Kasson-Mantorville girls take a loss against Lourdes

Tuesday night, Sept. 15, the Kasson-Mantorville KoMets girls soccer hosted another home game against one of the best teams in southeastern Minnesota, Rochester Lourdes.

Allen Lenard Colburn, 85, Mantorville

Allen Lenard Colburn passed away the morning of Sept. 5, 2020, at age 85, after living with cancer for several years.Al was born April 9, 1935 on a farm in Concord Township to Norman and Berdella Colburn. He was born weighing little more than four pounds, and with scarlet fever, yet grew up one of seven healthychildren.

Edward Voll, 98, Byron

Edward (Ed) Voll was born Dec. 14, 1921 on the Voll farm in Byron and lived there for 97 years. He passed away Sept. 7, 2020 at the age of 98.
Ed graduated from Byron High School in 1940. The BHS class of 1940 had 15 people and he was the last surviving member of his class.
