ONE FOR THE HISTORY BOOKS

When the Byron One Act Play Team began its rehearsals for the one act play competitions in late November, there was no expectations of making it past the subsections.
With a very difficult script to learn and an unusual one act play they would be performing, the expectations internally quite frankly weren’t very high.

Two chases, same person, same results

For small towns like Kasson, the police department may go a whole year without any vehicle chases.
So far in 2019, they have had two chases with the same person.
According to a complaint, the first incident took place on Jan.4, when a officer was dispatched in Dodge County regarding a driver complaint. It was reported that her son, James Robert Novak, 29, was driving around intoxicated with a gun.

Bound together in sickness and in health

On Sept. 26, 1970, Dallas and Sharyl Herrick, were married at Trinity Lutheran Church in Austin.
The couple met in Hayfield at the bowling alley, where Dallas was in the parking lot with a good friend, watching a movie at the drive in, where he saw Sharyl walk out.
At that moment, he said he was going to ask her out one day.
And he did just that. Three years later and they were married.
