Dodge Center is back to square one in the search for a new ambulance director after the city and the selected candidate were unable to reach agreement on salary.
At the April 11 meeting the council voted to offer employment to Brett Rima and directed City Administrator Lee Mattson to negotiate a salary with Rima who is director of the ambulance service for the hospital in Roseau, Minnesota. 

The sap was running on a rainy morning recently as the kindergarten classes at Triton Elementary School boarded the buses for the “Sugar Shack.”

I have a friend, Shawn Haley. We grew up together and attended high school and played on some of the same teams. I always liked Shawn. He was one of those guys who seemed to know where he was going in life at an early age. He took and excelled in those higher classes that I never could master.
