Enrollment option for uninsured Minnesotans ends next week

If you are currently uninsured, there is still time to get 2020 private health coverage. MNsure’s special enrollment period (SEP) in response to the coronavirus health emergency goes through Tuesday, April 21.
Coverage for Minnesotans who enroll through this SEP will have a retroactive start date of April 1.

Breaking News: Fire destroys Dodge Center home

An Easter fire has destroyed a home in Dodge Center.
Firefighters battled a blaze Sunday night at the Valley View Trailer Court in Dodge Center. The mobile home belonging to Jackie and Debra Odell was destroyed, Sheriff Scott Rose said. 

Breaking News: Dodge County crash kills Owatonna man

A Sunday morning crash in Dodge County has taken the life of a Steele County man.
The State Patrol has identified the victim as Mark Douglas Johnson, 58, of Owatonna. He was driving a 2014 Honda Accord that was traveling eastbound on Dodge County Road 16. Johnson’s vehicle collided with a Chevrolet Avalanche traveling northbound on Highway 57 in Mantorville Township. The crash was reported at 11:20 a.m.

DC picks Colorado man

A few months ago the City of Dodge Center began its search for a new city administrator after Lee Mattson left to take a post in Waseca.
After an intensive search, and application process the city council and mayor unanimously voted on Monday to name Josh Tetzlaff as its new city administrator, pending successful contract negotiations.
