Barbara Ann Franke, 78, received her angel wings on March 7, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Barb was born Aug. 30, 1939, in Mankato to Emil and Esther (Grothe) Osmundson.  She grew up on the family farm in Delavan, where she graduated from high school in 1957.  She married her best friend, Gene, on Nov. 23, 1957, in Delavan.

The memorial service for Allan O. Carlson, 77, of rural Byron, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17 at South Zumbro Lutheran Church in rural Kasson, with Rev. Eldon Simonson officiating. 
Burial will take place in the church cemetery. 
Mr. Carlson died on Thursday March 1, 2018 of a short illness with cancer, at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas, where he had been a patient. 

Donald  Wayne Petersburg, 89, of Claremont, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 at Traditions 2. 
 
He was born in Bristol Township, Worth County, Iowa, on Oct. 20, 1928, the son of Alfred and Alma (Gudvangen) Petersburg. He was baptized on Nov. 25, 1928 and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith on May 30, 1943.  

William Alfred Olson, age 89, died at his home in Rochester on Friday morning, Feb. 9, 2018. In his last days he was visited by his children and well-cared for by his wife Merece and The Seasons Hospice. To that we are eternally grateful.

Beth Irene Johnson, 94, returned to her heavenly home on Feb. 20, 2018 after a short illness. Her devotion to family was surpassed only by her love for God.

Lloyd S. Otterson, 85, of rural Austin, passed away Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin. 

Calvin George Paulson, 90, of Rochester, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Homestead of Rochester Rehabilitation and Living Center.
He was born June 13, 1927 in Austin, the son of Alvin and Ida “Marie” (Hjelmun) Paulson. He graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 1945. On August 20, 1951, he married Carol Rockne in Austin.
