Retired teachers from Kasson-Mantorville enjoyed a teacher’s luncheon at Hidden Pines Grill in Mantorville on Sept. 7.

The leaves are changing their colors. The temps are much cooler and light coats and sweatshirts are starting to be worn, again. It is a beautiful season of the year that hosts much transition.

The Kasson-Mantorville Lions Scrap Metal Drive is this Saturday, September 16, at Lions Park (610 West Veterans Memorial Hwy) Kasson. Time is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
No freezers, refrigerators, or electronics will be accepted. Anything metal, such as aluminum cans, grills, washing machines, dryers, lawn mowers, tillers, car batteries, steel posts, and metal file cabinets can be dropped off.

The American Legion Auxiliary’s Department of Minnesota finished up their 103rd convention in mid-July and now starts a new fiscal year.
