Do not challenge them.

Ignore their gestures and don’t return them.

The Kasson City Council has approved hiring reserve officer Conner Finley as a full-time officer.
The Kasson Police Department has had trouble hiring in recent years; it started the year with three unfilled full-time officer positions, which has led to a number of issues.
Key among those is the department’s overtime use, which is already over budget, something Kasson Police Chief Joshua Hanson directly attributes to lack of staff.

William Patrick Wyttenback, of Dodge Center, spent his 55th birthday in a Dodge County courtroom, where he was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexually assaulting a child.
A jury convicted him in March of one count each of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and third-degree criminal sexual conduct. He was found not guilty of a second count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Kasson-Mantorville Superintendent Beth Giese is no stranger to the struggles school districts face when it comes to funding.
It was just last year when she and others applied to become the next superintendent of schools.
In Giese’s case, she would’ve loved to continue with her then-employer, the Kenyon-Wanamingo school district.
