The struggles continue for the Hayfield boys basketball team after falling to Goodhue 88-49 last week.
For Hayfield Charlie Walker had 15 points, a rebound, and an assist, Drew Slaathaug had seven points, three rebounds, and an assist, Layne Nelson had two points five assists, and two rebounds, and Austin Dahle had two points and nine rebounds.
With the loss the Vikings are now 1-5 on the season.
 

 
The Byron girls basketball team defeated Cannon Falls 88-50 last week.
For Byron Madison Ohm had 24 points, Raegan Kelm had 23 points and Kayla Stork had 16 points. Stork lead the team with eight assists while Stork, Alyse Ayen and Kendra Harvey had four rebounds.
Byron is now 7-1 on the season.
 

The Triton wrestling team defeated Triton, and lost to Lewiston-Altura-Rushford-Peterson and Rochester Century at a meet last week.

The Triton girls basketball team is off to a 6-1 start.
In its matchup against WEM last week Triton won 68-51.
For Triton Norah Freiderich had six points, two rebounds, and an assist, Addi Oakland had 10 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, Rainey ??Dobbs had eight points, and eight rebounds, Keanna Molina had 14 points, four rebounds, and six assists, and Gigi Lundi had four points and three rebounds.

The Dodge County Wildcats boys hockey team is hosting its Stick It To Cancer game on Saturday at the Four Seasons Ice Arena.
The junior varsity team is set to play at 1 p.m. with the varsity team taking on the Luverne Cardinals at 3 p.m.
There will be a brief program between the two games to support cancer fighters & survivors
and to honor those who have passed away.
