For KoMets, there’s no place like home

The long winter has made opening day a distant dream for the Kasson-Mantorville softball team as it eagerly awaited to break in its newly remodeled digs. Saturday’s 5K raises money for Early Childhood scholarships

Even though there was less sun and more snow than last year, nearly 200 people gathered at the K-M Community Education building on Saturday morning to raise funds for Early Childhood Education scholarships.
According to Jenny Carrier, Director of K-M Community Education, it was “a great turnout. It’s so wonderful to see families come out to support early childhood in our community.”
