A public hearing at Monday night’s Dodge Center Council meeting led to the approval of a Restricted Liquor License for Nadine Langworthy to sell liquor at The Annadine in downtown Dodge Center. Langworthy had requested the On Sale/Off Sale Restricted Liquor License. The council also approved an amendment to the City Code governing the number of available licenses in Dodge Center.

Little libraries are popping up in Dodge County and everyone is invited to use them.
The small, brightly painted little houses, which can hold approximately 30 books, are the result of a collaborative effort of Dodge Center Library Director Ingvild Herfindahl, the Friends of the Dodge Center Library, the Mantorville Art Guild and Triton High School shop classes.

In the years since she graduated from Triton High School in 1999 Maria Welch has probably done more traveling and had more interesting experiences than most of her classmates.

After enlisting in the Peace Corps, shortly after John F. Kennedy created the program, a Kasson-Mantorville graduate found his new home. 

One K-M grad is now spending his time working with a company that he hopes will someday eradicate malnutrition in children around the world. 

In this third week as director of the Dodge Center Ambulance Service, Jared Oscarson was settling into his new position with enthusiasm.
“I can’t say enough about the volunteers, full-time and part-time staff of this service,” he said. “I’m impressed with the professionalism, integrity and dedication to the community.”
