Triton/K-W/Hayfield soccer drops both games at Lake City Invitational

The Triton/K-W/Hayfield Girls Soccer team traveled to Lake City for an invitational over the weekend and was defeated in both games.
In the first game Romina Medina and Gigi Lundi each scored goals in the 10-2 loss versus Lake City.
Goalkeeper Alyssa Knudson had 11 saves and gave up seven goals in 56 minutes and Miley Dostal had two saves and gave up three goals in 24 minutes.
Senior Ashley Romero made her first career start, and Freshman Christine Pearson, eighth graders Alyvia Scheppmann and Reighn Hokanson, and seventh grader Abigail Henslin all made their first career appearances.

In the team’s second game against Caledonia Medina scored her fifth goal of the season on an assist from Miley Dostal. It wouldn’t be enough however, as Triton loss 7-1.
Eighth grader Reighn Hokanson made her first career start, while Freshmen Avery Dahl and Kashi Locke, and eighth grader Emma Chicos made their first career appearances.
Knudson had 22 saves in the game.
