Cobras trend upward against Lake City

The Triton baseball team has been in a rut by dropping its first nine games to begin the year. While such a rough start could mean the end before the year even begins, the Cobras have been able to trend in the right direction and put together their best game of the year against Lake City on Monday afternoon.

While the record looks great on paper, the KoMets haven’t been running away with games due to a modest effort at the plate. Thankfully, K-M has been able to use their athleticism to manufacture runs.

Colvin signs letter of intent with SDSMT

If there were a phrase that could describe Kasson-Mantorville senior runner Ben Colvin, it would be a role model. As one of the standouts on both the K-M cross country and track and field teams, Colvin has excelled on both platforms and turned it into an athletic career at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology beginning next fall.

KoMets get key win over Osseo

The Kasson-Mantorville softball team is looking to establish themselves early this season. Even though their week started with a loss to Zumbrota-Mazeppa, the KoMets were able to do that by defeating Lake City and picking up a big win over Osseo to improve to 4-1 on the year.

KoMets end Lourdes’ streak

The Kasson-Mantorville track and field team got its first meet of the season in on a beautiful Friday afternoon hosting Red Wing and Glencoe-Silver Lake. The meet proved to be a great opportunity to set a baseline as the season gets underway.
