REGULAR SCHOOL BOARD MEETING REGULAR SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2015 6:00 P.M. TRITON MIDDLE SCHOOL DODGE CENTER, MN -Meeting Proceedings-
Chair Henslin called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Those members present: Melissa Kubat, Lloyd Henslin, Jr., Dale Jensen, Bryce Kleinwort, Tracy Petersohn and Jon Streiff; absent: Chad Johnson. Also present: Superintendent Brett Joyce, Principal Craig Schlichting, Student Council Representative Charles Groll, Patty Braeger and 10 visitors.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Jensen/Kubat to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
Kleinwort/Jensen to approve the consent agenda including October 19, 2015 regular school board meeting minutes; claims and bills; financial report; nonresident/open enrollment agreements for students #111615A, #111615B, #111615C, #111615D and #111615E; contract for John Tate as Part-Time Fitness Center Assistant; Extra-Curricular Contracts for Kalley Kendall as Asst. Girls Basketball Coach, Jason Boe as Jr. High Boys Basketball Coach, Tracy Petersohn as Jr. High Girls Basketball Coach, Sam Storlie as C-Squad Basketball Coach, Jon Streiff as C-Squad Girls Basketball Coach and Tim Kress as Jr. High Girls Basketball Coach; resignation for Kevin Eipers as Lead Custodian effective October 29, 2015 and contract for Randy Dohrmann as Custodian. Motion carried unanimously.
Streiff/Petersohn motioned to approve the Audit Report for 2014-2015. Motion carried unanimously
Kubat/Jensen motioned to approve TAP Grant withdrawal. Motion carried unanimously.
Streiff/Henslin motioned to approve the Triton Education Minnesota contract for 2015-2017. Motion carried unanimously.
Kubat/Petersohn motioned to approve Principal Nancy Stucky as LEA Representative. Motion carried unanimously.
Streiff/Jensen motioned to authorize students to attend an overnight trip to the Dorian Choir Festival at Luther College. Motion carried unanimously.
Charles Groll shared his platform as a candidate for Business Professionals of America State President.
BPA Advisor Rebecca Sandager announced Charles Groll was elected BPA State President.
Superintendent Brett Joyce reported
Streiff/Kleinwort motioned to approve refund procedures for activity fees. Motion carried unanimously.
Activities Director Don Henderson gave a fall activities season report.
Principal Craig Schlichting announced the Perpich Arts Integration Project that included Triton teachers John Schreiber, Ashley Ehlert and Markus Hahn and reported on the College Possible partnership proposal.

Student Council Representative Charles Groll discussed the food drive, upcoming pennies for patients and snow week.
ZED facilities were discussed. A resolution for construction of a new ZED facility for up to $13.1 million shared between all ZED members based on a formula of 50% weighted average daily membership, 25% equal share, and 25% utilization will be voted on at the December School Board meeting.
Chair Henslin adjourned the meeting at 8:32 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
