Raymond Treiben, 94, Mantorville

The Mass of Christian Burial for Raymond Fay Threinen was held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Church of the Holy Family in Kasson with Father John Lasuba as celebrant. 
Mr. Threinen, 94, of rural Mantorville, died of natural causes on Friday, June 1, 2018 in hospice care at The Bluffs in Lake City.
Raymond F. Threinen was born April 16, 1924 in Dover and was a graduate of Dover High School. On Oct. 2, 1943, he married Jean Alberts in St. Charles. They resided in rural St. Charles and Dover area until moving to rural Mantorville in 1946. Mr. Threinen was a farmer his entire life, and enjoyed fishing and traveling with family and friends.
He is survived by three sons; Gary (Joyce) of rural Kasson, Gaylen (Lola) of Lake City, and Thomas (Barb) of rural Mantorville; a daughter, Kay (Tony) Zurcher of Hickory, N.C.; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Kenny (Roselyn) of Plainview.  
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, and two brothers; Richard and Howard.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Mantorville.  
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be directed to a charity of your choice.
