Prairie Fire brings ‘Peter Pan’ to Triton
The children’s classic “Peter Pan” was brought to life at Triton Elementary School last week courtesy of the Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre.
As they do each year, two professional actors from the theater, based in Barrett, Minn., spend a week at the school helping elementary youngsters rehearse and prepare for two public performances. With the exception of the two professionals, all the roles in the play are performed by elementary students.
This year the students performed an adaptation of Peter Pan written by Daniel Nordquist and Deborah Pick. Pick is the founder and executive director of Prairie Fire.
