Otto Bremer Trust makes 158 grants totaling $11M

A Steele County organization has been awarded a grant as part of $11 million given out by the Otto Bremer Trust.
Steele County Transitional Housing in Owatonna will be receiving $50,000 for general operations to provide housing and case management for homeless adults and families throughout the county.
Included in the $850,000 of grants given out to organizations across southern Minnesota is United Way of Freeborn County in Albert Lea. United Way will receive $50,000 for general operations to support programming and launch a new accessible food shelf in Freeborn County.
“The grant recipients are making a positive impact in their communities and we are impressed with the good work they do,” said Daniel C. Reardon, co-CEO and trustee, OBT.
