Blotter Spotlight: Fire: Deputies responded to a vehicle fire at U.S. Hwy. 14 and 270th Ave. in Kasson at 6:19 p.m. on Dec. 3.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office handled 148 complaints during the week of Nov. 27 — Dec. 3:
Nov. 27
Domestic: Deputies responded to a domestic assault in the 63700 block of 160th Ave. in Dodge Center at 8 a.m.
Animal: At 11:41 a.m., a cat bite occurred in the 17300 block of 645th St. in Dodge Center.
Domestic: Deputies responded to a domestic in the 100 block of 5th St. SW in Dodge Center at 10:32 p.m.
Nov. 28
Vandalism: At 10:31 a.m., mailbox vandalism occurred in the 10400 block of 730th St. in Blooming Prairie.
Dec. 1
Vandalism: At 7:54 a.m., deputies received a report that a house was egged in the 61500 block of 252nd Ave. in Mantorville.
Dec. 3
Domestic: Deputies responded to a domestic assault in the 200 block of 2nd St. SW in Dodge Center at 10:26 a.m.

The Kasson Police Department handled 50 complaints during the week of Nov. 27 — Dec. 3:
Nov. 30
Probation: Officer conducted a probation check in the 300 block of Countryview St. at 8:42 p.m.
Dec. 1
Suspicion: Police responded to suspicious activity in the 1200 block of 6th Ave. SE at 1:36 a.m.
Disturbance: Officers responded to a verbal argument over a civil matter in the 300 block of Countryview St. at 8:57 a.m. They mediated the disturbance at the scene.
Dec. 2
Crash: At 7:28 a.m., a motor vehicle accident occurred at Mantorville Ave. S. and Veterans Memorial Highway.
Juvenile: Police received a juvenile complaint from Mantorville Ave. N. and 16th St. at 8:02 a.m. and on Central Ave. at 4:34 p.m.
