News Update: Two men charged in machete attack
The men believed to be involved in a machete attack in Hayfield have been charged in Dodge County District Court.
On Thursday, Robert Mickele Washington, 46, and Tommy Lee Robinson, 45, were charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon causing substantial bodily harm.

Two men have been taken into custody after an early morning machete assault in Hayfield.
Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose said the two men are being held in the Steele County Detention Center in Owatonna pending formal charges, which are expected Thursday morning.

Francis LaVerne Schnorenberg, age 86, of Kasson/Mantorville, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 at Oak Terrace in North Mankato.
 
Francis was born Feb. 8, 1932 in Rose Creek, to Edward and Anna (Dunleavy) Schnorenberg. He graduated from Rose Creek High School and served two years in the U.S. Army.
