The following cases were heard in Dodge County District Court the week of Dec. 15 with Judge Debra A. Groehler presiding:
Casey L. Hamilton, 42, Lino Lakes, previously appeared and was convicted of felony possession of ammo/firearm — conviction of adjudicated delinquent for crime of violence. He was sentenced to $130 and 60 months in St. Cloud State Prison.

Hayfield/Schaeffer Academy improves to 3-3

The Hayfield girls basketball team defeated Lanesboro 61-43 last week.
The game was tied 13-13 with nine minutes left in the first half before Hayfield/Schaeffer Academy went on a 26-10 run before halftime.

KMT gymnastics breaks school record

The Kasson-Mantorville/ Triton gymnastics team won its recent meet against Stewartville 129.325 to 110.05.
Eleanor Smith swept every event and all-around. She scored a personal best on beam with a 9.6 and a personal best in the all-around with a 35.825. Both scores also broke the KMT school record.
Jovie Arnold took third on vault with a new personal best of 8.425. She also took second place on floor with a 8.65.

Vikings lose to Goodhue

The struggles continue for the Hayfield boys basketball team after falling to Goodhue 88-49 last week.
For Hayfield Charlie Walker had 15 points, a rebound, and an assist, Drew Slaathaug had seven points, three rebounds, and an assist, Layne Nelson had two points five assists, and two rebounds, and Austin Dahle had two points and nine rebounds.
With the loss the Vikings are now 1-5 on the season.
 

Byron Bears defeat Cannon Falls 88-50

 
The Byron girls basketball team defeated Cannon Falls 88-50 last week.
For Byron Madison Ohm had 24 points, Raegan Kelm had 23 points and Kayla Stork had 16 points. Stork lead the team with eight assists while Stork, Alyse Ayen and Kendra Harvey had four rebounds.
Byron is now 7-1 on the season.
 

Triton wrestling defeats Waseca

The Triton wrestling team defeated Triton, and lost to Lewiston-Altura-Rushford-Peterson and Rochester Century at a meet last week.
