Local students named to UW-Stout Dean’s List
Ten local students have been named to the Spring 2022 Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above.UW-Stout, Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, has 47 undergraduate majors and 23 graduate programs, including one doctoral degree. UW-Stout, established in 1891, prides itself on the success of its students in the workplace, with an employment rate above 98% for recent graduates. The university was awarded the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2001.

University of Minnesota Rochester Chancellor’s List
Each semester, UMR recognizes students who have achieved high academic achievement through the Chancellor's List. To be listed, a student must have earned a 3.666 GPA or higher and completed a minimum of 12 credits graded A-F.

Kelly Johnson receives degree from Creighton University
Creighton University, a Jesuit university in the BIG EAST Conference, held its undergraduate commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 14, at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, NE.
Among the graduates was Kelly Johnson of Hayfield, Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude.
Abigail Stasko named to Dean’s List
Abigail Stasko of Hayfield, a Senior at Northland College, has been named to the dean's list for outstanding academic performance during the winter 2022 term.
UW-Stout students, receive awards for leadership, excellence in service
More than 100 students and student groups were recognized at University of Wisconsin-Stout's annual Leadership Awards program on May 4.Winners were announced for the Samuel E. Wood Medallion and campus Leadership Awards for the 2021-22 academic year. Also, the Outstanding Cooperative Education and Internship Student of the Year Award winners were named for 2021.Those nominated for awards also were recognized.The event was sponsored by the Involvement Center, Stout Student Association and Career Services.The Outstanding Cooperative Education and Internship Program Student of the Year Award was given to Paul Schultz, Kasson, applied mathematics and computer science, Red Hat.The winners are selected by the program's Advisory Committee for excellence and achievements in their positions, for contributions to their employers and for academic achievement.UW-Stout is Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, with a focus on applied learning, collaboration with business and industry, and career outcomes.
Dakota State 2022 Spring Honors List released
A total of 514 full-time and 191 part-time students qualified for the President’s Academic Honors list for the 2022 spring semester at Dakota State University (DSU) in Madison, S.D.
The following full-time students achieved a grade point average of 3.5 to 4.0 to qualify for the honors list: Ethan Slaathaug of Hayfield and Colton Ostgaard of Kasson.
