Students graduate from area colleges

Winona State University
Many area students have graduated from Winona State University.
They include: Blooming Prairie–Tyler Oakland with a master of social work; Owatonna– Allysa Adams with master of social work, Kailie Kubista with a bachelor of science in teaching, Josie Mueller with bachelor of science in teaching and cum laude honors, Shelby Staska with bachelor of science in nursing, Pamela Temple with bachelor of social work and magna cum laude honors, Grace Thurnau with master of social work and Hannah Valen with master of science in athletic training.
Western Technical College
Casey Cumberland of Owatonna graduated from Western Technical College in La Crosse from the graphic design program.
Cumberland was one of 603 graduates to receive an associate’s degree or technical diploma in the spring term.
University of Nebraska- Lincoln
India Enter of Medford has graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
Enter was among 3,523 graduates who received degrees at commencement May 13-14. Enter earned a bachelor of music with distinction from the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts.
Area students named to academic lists
MN State Community and Technical
Minnesota State Community and Technical College has named 506 students to its Dean’s List for the 2022 Spring Semester.
Among them is Charles Pittman of Owatonna.
Students on the Dean’s List earned a GPA of 3.50 to 3.99 while completing a minimum of six college-level credits and 75 percent of the courses in which they enrolled for the semester.
Georgia Southern University
Jenna Rhoades of Owatonna has been recognized on Georgia Southern University’s Spring 2022 President’s List.
Rhoades was one of approximately 2,200 students named to the elite list. She was named to the list for excellence in academics.
To be eligible for the President’s List, students must have at least 4.0 GPA and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.
GSU is located in Statesboro, Ga.

To be named to the Dean’s List, students must be enrolled in 12 credit hours for a grade and achieve a minimum of 3.5 GPA.
