BREAKING NEWS: Triton schools closed as COVID cases rise

Triton school officials notified parents Tuesday that all the district schools would be closed from Wednesday until next Tuesday because of a rise in COVID cases.
The email sent out to parents said that school would be closed Wednesday and Thursday and Friday would be distance learning days. Monday is a scheduled teacher workday. In-person classes will resume on Tuesday, November 5.
The action was taken, according to the email, because the number of cases in the district had reached the 5% level.
