K-M Loses To Northfield In Extra Innings

Clear skies and fans lined up on the outfield fence to watch a cliff-hanger between Kasson-Mantorville and the Northfield Raiders, Friday evening at K-M’s field.
 Kasson lost to Northfield 5-4 in extra innings. 
Lefthanded freshman Noah Swarts took the mound for the KoMets tossing 5 innings giving up 4 runs (2 earned) on 8 hits while striking out 4. 
Dalton Maxwell came in and finished out the game throwing 3 innings and giving up 1 earned run on 2 hits while striking out 4.
Offensively, the KoMets were led by Kyler Kujath, Dalton Maxwell and Mitch Nelson. Kujath went 2-4 with a run scored, RBI, and stolen base. 
Maxwell added on going 1-3 with a 2B, RBI, run scored, and a walk. Nelson went 1-4 with a RBI.
