Winning streak hits 11 for Wildcats

The Dodge County boys’ hockey team seemingly can’t lose and that continued this past week as they beat Austin 10-2 on Tuesday, Feb. 4, and Southwest Christian/Richfield 6-1 on Saturday, Feb. 8.
The Wildcats got off to a fast start against Austin by scoring three goals in the first period.
Brody Lamb scored an unassisted goal in the first three minutes of the game, while Charlie Blaisdell added two goals later in the period, one assisted by Ethan Dale and the other by Carl Schutz.
Head Coach Nick Worden was happy with how they played in the first period but said they could’ve played even better.
“We played well in the first period. We struggled a little getting passes to go tape to tape, but I really like our effort,” he said.
