DC Council hires finance analyst/clerk

The Dodge Center City Council held a short emergency meeting Monday night at which time they dealt with two personnel items.
City Administrator Joshua Tetzlaff requested the city council give its approval to offering the position of finance analyst/clerk to Jeremiah Wadley. They also accepted the resignation of administrative clerk Daphne Roberts.
The finance analyst/clerk position is a new one created after Julie Beth left the finance director position earlier this year.
Tetzlaff was given the okay to offer the position to Wadley at a salary of $69,370.80. He is currently employed at CliftonLarsonAllen in Rochester where he has had three-and-a-half years of experience auditing small towns such as Dodge Center, Tetzlaff said.
The council also accepted the resignation of Roberts, who has worked for the city for the past 13 months as administrative assistant. Roberts has accepted a position as administrative assistant in the School of Continuous Development at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Her last day on the job in Dodge Center will be April 12.
In the final action of the meeting, the council gave the staff permission to advertise for the administrative clerk position.
