DC to vote on City Administrator position Monday

On Tuesday the City of Dodge Center invited their finalist candidates for the City Administrator position to town for an interview with the Council and Mayor, as well as a meet and greet with staff and community members.
 
After the interviews and feedback from the community and staff they had discussions as a group and voted on their top two people.
 
After a vote of 4-1 it was determined that Josh Tetzlaff was their top pick.
 
Although he was their top pick they decided not to extend an official job offer on Tuesday because he was unable to come in person and instead did his interview with the Council and Mayor via Skype.
 
On Monday Tetzlaff will get his chance to visit the town and meet with staff and the public.
 
On Monday the Council is also expected to cast their vote on whether or not they will extend an offer to Tetzlaff for the position.
 
The DCI was given the schedule for the day by a consultant with DDA Human Resources, Inc. who is handling the search for the City of Dodge Center.
 
Dodge Center is advertising a Special Council Meeting on Monday.  The Schedule is as shown:
 
10:45 a.m. – Candidate Josh Tetzlaff will go on City Tour
11:30 a.m. -  Panel interview with Mayor Ketchum and Council
Noon – Lunch with staff and Council
1:00 p.m. – Council deliberations and decision

Joshua Tetzlaff, currently pursuing Master’s of Public Administration at UND, currently serving as Senior Planner for City of Brighton, CO.
