Take a winter break at Healthy Living Expo Saturday

Saturday, Jan. 9 from 1 to 5 p.m., Dodge Refreshed is holding the third annual Healthy Living Expo in the West Gym at Triton High School. It is an opportunity to give blood, dispose of old and outdated medications, get some good health information and have fun.
The Red Cross will be collecting blood. 
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office will be taking old and outdated drugs and medicines for safe disposal.
There will be go-karts to drive while wearing Toward Zero Death impaired googles. 
Weather permitting, there will be snowshoe races. While there will be a few pairs of snowshoes available, anyone with snowshoes is asked to bring their own. (If you have a pair you would be willing to let people use to experience snowshoeing, that would certainly be appreciated.)
Radon testing and mitigation information will be available along with a limited number of radon test kits.
There will also be interactive demonstrations on brain fitness, spinal health, medication and fall risk, yoga and healthy eating.
Exhibitors will also have some goodies and a lot of useful information to help keep your family and yourself healthier. Among the exhibitors this year are: Mayo Clinic, SEMAAA Matter of Balance, Train A Child Center, the Center Clinic, Anytime Fitness, Dodge Extension/Master Gardeners, U of MN Extension, South Central Human Relations, Olmsted Medical Center, Dodge Center Chiropractic, 4 Corners Partnership, Dodge County Public Health, Culligan, chef Marshall O’Brien, Seventh Day Adventist Church, Dodge County Sheriff, Dodge County Victim Services/the Women’s Shelter, Toward Zero Deaths, Kasson Police, Young Living Essential Oils, Let’s Smile Inc.,  Minnesota Department of Health/Radon and St. John’s Lutheran Church.
