Donald Byron Lillesve, 72, Sarasota, FL

Donald Byron Lillesve died Thursday, January 2nd, 2025 at his home in Sarasota Florida. He was 72 years of age. Don was born Sept 7th, 1952 in Polk County, Minnesota, the son of Harry and Violet (Johnson) Lillesve. He was a graduate of High School in New Richland. Throughout his career, Don worked in the construction industry owning or managing lumberyards, and eventually operating his own construction business. On June 22nd, 1975 he was united in marriage to Karen (Miller) Saulsbury at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church in Hartland, divorced in 2011 and remarried in 2012 to Mary Liccion. He is survived by his two children from his first union; Cayce (Chris) Gulbransen, Cory (Laura) Lillesve, two grandchildren, Amri and Porter Lillesve, his brother James (Marti) Lillesve and their children, Tami (Matt) Bryan, Anthony (Christina) Lillesve and his wife Mary Liccion. Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
