Triton boys basketball defeats PEM, falls to Pine Island

The Triton boys basketball team was defeated by Pine Island, and defeated Plainview-Elgin-Millville to start the new year.
In its matchup against Pine Island, in which the Cobras were defeated 63-49, Pierce Petersohn had 22 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, and a steal, Garet Jensen had eight points, five rebounds, a block, and a steal, Christian Valdez had seven points, two rebounds, and two steals, and Brody Munnikhuysen had three points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
In its 64-40 win over PEM, Petersohn had 26 points, and 14 rebounds, Graden Thomas and William Thiemann both had 11 points in the win.
