Eggler elected as Kasson’s new mayor
Elizabeth Armstrong received the most votes in the Kasson-Mantorville School Board race, and is one of three who will be newcomers to the board come January.
Armstrong received 21.22% according to the unofficial results, followed by Amy Olson, who resigned from the School Board in October, as previously reported by the DCI. Olson received 20.78%.
Aaron Stockard received 20.10% of the vote and Eric Mesa received 19.34% to also earn spots on the board.
Pat Walsh received 17.44% to finish in fifth with four members elected.
Down the road for the Kasson City Council race, Dan Eggler will replace retiring mayor Chris McKern earning 93.27%.
Mel Ferris was re-elected to the City Council earning 51.84% of the vote along with Brian Wempner who earned 46.35%.
In Mantorville Jeffrey Ingalls won in an uncontested race earning 97.18%, while Lynnette Nash, and Jim Potter won their city council races in uncontested races.
