Time for Salvation Army Winter Coat Drive

Dodge County Salvation Army is now collecting winter wear in preparation for their distribution on November 2.
Winter wear, including coats, snow pants, hats, gloves, scarves and boots, will be collected at the Green Shack in Dodge Center from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 27 and now through Oct. 25 at several Kassons locations including Ziebell Law Office in the Kasson Mini Mall, 13 W. Main St. (bin outside door); Anytime Fitness, 110 W. Main St., and Empower Your Wellness, 304 W. Main St.

Distribution of the clothing will be Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church I n Kasson and is free to anyone living in Dodge County.
The Salvation Army is also getting ready for the 2024 holiday Bell Ringing Campaign, Young said.
Bell ringing will begin on Nov. 15 at Kasson HyVee, Hardware Hank in Kasson and Sunshine Foods in Dodge Center. There will also be counter kettles out in businesses throughout Dodge County. Mail in donations/checks can be made out to Dodge County Salvation Army.
