K-M falls to Winona in semifinals

The Kasson-Mantorville girls soccer team fell in the semi-finals of the section tournament after beating Faribault in the first round.
In the matchup against Faribault, K-M took a 3-0 lead going into the second half, before scoring two more unanswered goals to win 5-0.
Scoring for K-M was Taelyn Narveson, Delany Awe, Seraphina Ellinghysen, and Hailley Otterness who had two. Awe also had two assists along with Taelyn Narveson. MaKenzie Carrier also had an assist, and goalkeeper Addison Anderson had six saves behind the net.
In the semifinals K-M took on Winona losing 4-0.
The game started off 0-0 going into halftime before Winona scored four unanswered goals to win 4-0.
K-M finished the season with a record of 10-6-1.
