The Westfield Razorbacks wrestling squad competed in the Northfield Larry Severson Invitational on Saturday, December 16. Razorbacks Top Placers: 139 Bo Zwiener, Champion — 215 Ty Bronson, 3rd — 189 Alex Lea, 4th —107 Derek Miner, 5th —133 Gage Mullenbach, 6th.
“We had a number of great matches today at our first individual tournament of the year, and finished 8th as a team out of 15. Ty Bronson had a couple of nice victories today, including one over the #7 ranked wrestler, Aiden Gasper, at 215. Bo Zwiener also had a really nice day, and finished on top of the podium. He was able to revenge a loss from last season at the state tournament, and pin #2 ranked Bolton Thesing of DE at 139. I was proud of the way we competed today,” explained Coach David Lassahn.
