Legion Auxiliary begins new year

The American Legion Auxiliary’s Department of Minnesota finished up their 103rd convention in mid-July and now starts a new fiscal year.
Present members of Kasson Unit 333 will begin receiving a 2024 membership dues notice in September. Dues for 2024 will be $35 for senior members and $6 for junior members, those from birth to age 18.The Auxiliary includes male and female spouses, mothers, sisters, daughters, grandmothers, and granddaughters of a veteran living or deceased.
Those who have let their membership lapse are asked to consider rejoining. The Auxiliary had requests from non-eligible women who wanted to help veterans with the many events so the Kasson group started a Friends of the Auxiliary. Kasson Unit 333 meets the third Thursday of the month September through May, at 6 p.m. at the Legion. The next meeting is Thursday, September 21.
