New print schedule begins for DCI
Beginning with next week’s edition of the Dodge County Independent, the newspaper will have a new print schedule.
The DCI will now be printed on Wednesdays instead of the previous schedule of Tuesdays. That means subscribers will receive their newspaper one day later than what they have been accustomed to in the past.
The paper will hit the newsstands around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and mailed out through the postal service for delivery on Thursday.
The new print schedule will not impact the shopper. Dodge County residents will still receive their free shopper on the same day just as they have for years.
In addition to a new print schedule, the DCI will merge with its sister publication, the News Enterprise of West Concord, and unveil a redesign of the paper starting next week.
These changes are necessary to maximize the benefits of the merger between both newspapers.
More details about these changes will be shared with readers in next week’s edition.
