Library card players

Joyce Redfern and Dee Tolleson from Kasson, started playing the card game Bridge with others in 1957. At first they met at players’ homes and now they meet each Tuesday afternoon at the Kasson Library. Joyce and Dee are the only members of the original group that are still living but they enjoy being part of this card group. There were 18 women playing this week with three tables for bridge and another group playing pinochle. One of the ladies said it is a pretty friendly game but once in a while we do get a “little loud” at times!
