LaVon Tully, 88, Mantorville

LaVon Tully, 88, of Mantorville, died June 25, 2021 at Susie’s Place in Hayfield under the loving care of Susie, where she was living for the past seven years.LaVon May Kramer was born December 31, 1932 to Weldon and Carrie (Dutton) Kramer. She grew up in Mantorville, and graduated class of 1950. On December 31, 1955 she married John (Jack) Tully.
LaVon was a longtime employee of the Kasson-Mantorville School District as a cook and was a member of the Mantorville VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed her family and feeding and watching the birds and squirrels, along with playing cards, especially solitary.LaVon is survived by her two sons, Mike (JoDee) of rural Mantorville and Brett (Ann) of Herbster, Wis.; three grandchildren, Derik (Bridget), Michael (Nora), and Stevie Tully; one sister, LaVoy Shaffer, and several nieces and nephews.She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Jack, brother DuWane Kramer, and great grandson Jaxson.
