KoMets, Bears to face off in title game

KoMets, Bears to face off in title game

The Byron and Kasson-Mantorville football teams are set to face off in the Section 1AAA championship game Friday with a trip to the state tournament on the line.
Byron, the top seed in the section tournament, is looking to advance to the tournament once again, after rolling past Winona. Last year, they fell in the first round of the Class AAA tournament.
Kasson-Mantorville, the second seed, is looking to make it to state after defeating Stewartville 10-7 last week.
The matchup is set to take place on Friday, Oct. 31, 7 p.m., at Rochester Mayo High School.
