KM grad becomes FFA advisor

Editor’s Note: For this week’s activities director column, KM Activities Director Broc Threinen asked FFA Advisor Mollie Allen to write a column.
 
I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new advisor of our Kasson Mantorville FFA chapter. My name is Mollie Allen, and I am excited to embark on this journey with all of you as we continue to build upon the strong legacy of our FFA club. A bit about myself. I was born and raised in Kasson! I am a 2020 graduate! In my time at K-M, I was an active FFA member serving in various officer positions, competed in general livestock judging, and Farm Bureau Discussion Meet. I received my State and American Degree. After graduating from K-M in 2020. I continued my education at the University of Wisconsin River Falls, where I studied agriculture education with a minor in animal science. I recently received my degree from UWRF,
Our chapter has a rich history of developing leadership, personal growth, and career success among its members, and I am committed to fostering that same spirit of excellence. Whether you are passionate about agriculture, eager to learn more about leadership, or interested in community service, there’s a place for you in our FFA family.
This year, we have an exciting lineup of events, competitions, and hands-on projects planned. From preparing for local and state contests to engaging in community outreach and developing our Supervised Agricultural Experience projects, there will be numerous opportunities for each of you to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact.
As we move forward, my goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every member feels valued and empowered to pursue their passions. I encourage all of you to take full advantage of the opportunities FFA offers and to challenge yourselves to step out of your comfort zones.
I look forward to working closely with each of you, and I’m confident that together we will achieve great things this year. Let’s make it a memorable and impactful year for our FFA chapter!
