Kasson-Mantorville/Triton/ Byron bowling begins season

The Kasson Mantorville Triton Byron (KMTB) varsity bowling team has started its season with three wins and a loss in Southern MN conference play. The team is currently tied for second with Rochester Mayo.
The one loss was to Stewartville, who is in first place with a 4-0 record.
“Soren Weatherstone and Peyton Pierce are leading the KMTB Varsity with 75% fill rate. The rest of the team is young and improving,” Coach Dan Ziebell wrote in an email.
According to Ziebell, the team has grown from eight bowlers to ten.
“ We would still welcome additional team members,” he said. “ Students in grades 7-12 attending or living in the member school districts can join at any time.”
Students in grades fourth through sixth, can practice with the team. The team is hosted by Colonial Lanes in Rochester and practices Mondays and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Colonial Lanes.
“The team looks on track to return to the state tournament,” Ziebel said
Interested students and or parents can contact Ziebell at kmbowling@kmtel.com for more information.
