Highway 57 resurfacing from Kasson to Mantorville begins Sept. 8

Resurfacing of Highway 57 from Kasson to Mantorville is scheduled to begin Sept. 8, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Crews will be resurfacing Highway 57 from 16th Street in Kasson to the Zumbro River in Mantorville. This will provide a smoother ride for motorists. Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 6.
Only one lane of traffic will be open when construction is active. A flagger will release traffic to follow a pilot car to the other end of the work zone, where a second flagger will prevent traffic at the other end of the work zone from entry. Only traffic following a pilot car in the same direction will be released.
