George W. Knudson, 87, Dodge Center

George W. Knudson peacefully passed away at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2021,  at Fairview Care Center with family by his side. Born June 9, 1933 in Wasioja Township and raised in that area until 12 years of age, he then moved around the area with his father but graduated from Dodge Center High School.
George married Betty Larson on Aug. 9, 1951 (deceased January 2016). Three sons were to follow, Randy (Jeanne), Bennet, Neb., Brad (deceased), Brien (Debra), Mantorville. George is also survived by grandchildren: Stacie (Ryan), Aaron (Carmon), Adam(Megan), Noland, Brianna (Nickii), Dana (Michelle), Casey, Kendra and Zachary; great grandchildren: Kaleigh, Lucas, Landon, Aiden, Mara, Rylee, Peyton and MacKenzie and Addyson. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held June 13 at 1 p.m. at the Dodge Center Seventh-day Adventist Church in Dodge Center. A light lunch will follow with burial of ashes an hour or so after the lunch at the Claremont Street Cemetery.
The family welcomes all who wish to come.
