CR 7 shut down until early September

Dodge County is repaving County Road 7 in Dodge Center, with the project being broken into three phases, said Bryce Lange, city administrator with Dodge County.
Phase 1 is from Subway to the railroad tracks; phase two is from the railroad tracks to Dollar General; and phase three is from Dollar General to the highway interchange.
“The bulk of the work is being done by the county,” Lange said. The road is shut down and is estimated to remain shut down until Sept. 2.
In addition to the repaving, the city is doing some water and utility work, Lange said.
County Road 7 is a county-owned road that runs north and south on the western end of Main Street, extending from Subway to the highway interchange south of it.
