The following case was heard in Dodge County District Court the week of Oct. 30 with Judge Jodi L. Williamson presiding:
Jontrell J. Overton-Smith, 25, Rochester, previously appeared and was convicted of felony possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to 65 days in county jail, no possession of firearms, chemical dependency evaluation, no alcohol or controlled substance use, do not enter liquor establishments, cognitive skill training, mental health evaluation and 5 years of supervised probation.

Disturbance: Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 62900 block of State Hwy. 57 in Kasson at 4:12 p.m.
Restraining Order: At 5:11 p.m., a restraining order violation occurred in the 24000 block of 590th St. in Mantorville.

Sex Offense: Deputies began an investigation of a sex offense in Mantorville at 9:57 a.m.
Fire: Deputies responded to a large tree on fire in the 56300 block of 205th Ave. in Dodge Center at 6:53 p.m.

Narcotics: At 12:08 p.m., narcotics were found in the 60300 block of 211th Ave. in Dodge Center.
Fire: Deputies responded to a grass fire at Hwy. St. E. and 1st Ave. NE in Dodge Center at 9:22 p.m.
Oct. 31
Environment: At 11:33 a.m., a refrigerator was dumped in a ditch at 200th Ave. and 530th St. in West Concord.
Vandalism: Property damage was reported in the 100 block of Front St. W. in Claremont at 4:43 p.m.

Disturbance: Deputies responded to disturbances in the 200 block of Front St. W. in Claremont at 10:10 a.m. and the 100 block of 2nd St. SW in Dodge Center at 9:04 p.m.
Fire: At 3:22 p.m., a brush fire occurred in the 20900 block of 555th St. in West Concord.
Explosion: Deputies responded to an explosion after a power transformer blew in the 100 block of 6th Ave. NE in Hayfield at 5:47 p.m.
Fire: Deputies responded to a fire in the 72800 block of 200th Ave. in Hayfield at 5:54 p.m.
Fire: At 9:16 p.m., a bonfire was out of control in the 53500 block of 170th Ave. in West Concord.

Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1400 block of 5th Ave. NE at 11:20 a.m.
Juvenile: At 12:03 p.m., a juvenile left school in the 600 block of 16th St. NE.
Fraud: Officer took a fraud report on Abbey Lane at 12:23 p.m.
Disturbance: At 2:28 p.m., a disturbance occurred at K-M High School.

Crash: At 7:09 p.m., a motor vehicle accident occurred in the 900 block of 5th Ave. NE.
