Byron wrestling falls to Goodhue, Rochester Century, defeats Winona/Winona Cotter

The Byron wrestling team fell to Goodhue and Rochester Century last week in dual meets.
In its meet against Goodhue, Xiong, Paxton Xiong won the 133 pound weight class on a technical fall, and Brayden Lorentzen won the 172 pound weight class on a technical fall. Gavin Bartel also won the 189 pound weight class on a forfeit.
In its matchup against Rochester Century, Landon Schaudenecker won the 121 pound weight class matchup on a 5-3 decision, Lorentzen won the 172 pound weight class, Bartel won the 189 pound weight class on a fall, and Mason Edwards won the 285 pound weight class on a fall.
In its win over Winona/ WInona Cotter Landon Schadenecker won a decision,
Gavin Connelly, and Jaedon Quam won by forfeits, Xiong, Gavin Zabel, Avery Hall, Lorenzen, Bartel, John Paul Lorenz, and Thad Zabel all got wins on falls.
